MIKEM Citric Acid is an essential organic acid, a colorless crystal, or white crystalline powder. It is easily soluble in methanol and water. Although it is tasteless, it has a strong sour taste and irritation. The calcium salt is easier to be dissolved in cold water than in hot water, which is used to identify and separate the citric acid.
Our citric acid products are mainly used as souring agents, flavoring agents, and preservatives in the food and beverage industry, as antioxidants, plasticizers, and detergents in the chemical industry, cosmetics industry and washing industry; as bactericides and anticoagulant in the pharmaceutical industry, etc. Besides, due to the high absorption rate of citric acid to SO2, our citric acid product is also an environmentally friendly FGD absorbent.
